Anita Alvarez represented Team USA in the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games, in the Women’s Artistic Swimming Duet competition.
Anita was a member of USA’s iconic “Robots” team routine, executing one of the most difficult acrobatic lifts in artistic swimming history.
Viewed over 4 million times on YouTube, Anita and Team USA’s innovative choreography and incredible performance made headlines as they redefined the sport for spectators around the globe.
USA Artistic Swimming Team back to the Olympics
Anita became a 3 time olympian when she helped Team USA make their first olympic return since 2008. During the games, Team USA had 3 great swims and earned the Silver Medal. This was USA’s first silver medal and the first Olympic Medal since 2024.
